Different Hydrogen Devices

It seems these days there are many different types of hydrogen products on the market. Searching online and you see all types of Hydrogen producing options from H2 water generators, H2 breathing devices, H2 tablets/sticks, H2 bath, and even Hydrogen water packages. A little FYI, Hydrogen is H and molecular Hydrogen H2 the type that is produced in your body and used in research and stays around the atmosphere and unlike Hindenburg.

What do you choose? First, let’s eliminate the #1 worst choice.  Pre Package/Bottle Hydrogen water. First, the water is Reverse Osmosis which is stripped of any minerals that can cause more harm to your body when consumed by stripping the minerals out of our bodies because of the nature of water. RO water is also Bad for Environment, lots of water are wasted to remove the minerals. Yes the RO water is also clean of chemicals or harmful products, which I only consider using when in places where it is not possible to obtain safe drinking water. Another bad environmental impact is the different types of packaging from non-reusable plastic bottles to plastic coated aluminum package (even if it is BPA Free) still a plastic waste. The cost $$$ involved upkeeping this healthy lifestyle at $3.00 per pack and approx 325ml. You will need 8 packs per day to drink sufficient water $24 per day, per person, or $8760 per year on drinking water plus the delivery greenhouse gas impact. Didn’t think of that, did you?

Hydrogen Breathing apparatus. A good one cost lots $$$ to produce pure human consumable H2, compared to those for energy or welding. Yes, the process is the same electrolysis using SPE / PEM but to produce enough for breathing you will need a good generator that produces a fast flow rate to make it effective and they are mainly medical devices. Those sold in the market these days usually converted from H2 welding machines may require you to add potassium hydroxide or Lye in order to produce fast enough H2 flow rate for breathing. And Potassium Hydroxide can cause burning effects to the body. It is different for soap because it is processed. If you want to use this method, it is best not to add any chemicals to produce H2 and fill up a tank for breathing.

Hydrogen Stick and tablets 2 different methods but similar ways to enrich H2 water. The H2 stick is a product that has been in the market for a long time. It is a great and simple way to get H2 but simply dropping it into a bottle with a seal cap and 24hr later you have H2 water. Well, it can take up to 24hrs for the stick to slowly release H2 properties. They last from 1 week to 2 months. The H2 slowly get lower and lower in volume while been used, H2 ranges from 1.4 ppm to 0.5ppm after 1 month.  The manufacturer can sometimes add some kind of minerals, chemicals, magnesium and ceramic to make the water Hydrogen and Alkaline. The stick is made to be slow release by using ceramic. H2 Tablets made famous by the endorsement from Athletes and multi-level/ network/ blablabla marketing, you know those that talks and bad Hydrogen gas come out from their mouth and ass at the same time. While the tablets are great. Great fun to watch with lots of bubbles, that doesn’t necessarily mean more H2 dissolve into the water. Yes, Hydrogen can escape into the atmosphere even with a lid. Time to produce can take up to 20 mins for 16 oz of water or 2 cups of water. 2 different brands same MFG claims their Hydrogen H2 dissolve in water can produce 1.5 ppm – 4ppm only use 2 tablets per day. Another FYI, researchers said the maximum volume of Hydrogen H2 dissolves in water is 1.6ppm unless pressurized to dissolve more H2. One seller even said the gas is release once the cap is open, could mean that Hydrogen was not well dissolved in the water mostly release Hydrogen H gas, not H2. Yes, I know the H2 dissipate as time passes, like 7hrs to read 0 zero so it is best to drink fresh.  Now the Cost is around $50 CAD plus shipping Plus Taxes so around $65-75 Per month. I guess it is better than $25 per day?

Hydrogen Spa devices, as far as I know only Qlife has these product call Q SPA. So my opinion might be bias but I will give you my best rundown on this product to my knowledge. Q Spa is made without a hydrogen only membrane or not SPE/ PEM technology. Even though it is the older tech the size of the plates, the area, and the thickness is the biggest in the industries. Even the Amperage of the batteries is way bigger than anything out there. So for those who know without the SPE technology the other gas like ozone and chlorine gas are mixed in the water. Now hold on isn’t  Chlorine Gas poisonous. No, not the same type as the chlorine gas for chemical warfare. If you are really worried just remove the chlorine/bleach from the water by the use of an entire house water filtration system which can be costly Or use Vitamin C to remove the chlorine in the water during bath. FYI hot water has already reduced chlorine level compare to cold water as it is heated that reduces the chlorine level. As for Ozone gas, there are plenty of REAL Pubmed or scientific studies to support the benefits of Ozone gas, not some internet blogger that talk without any thoughts of misleading others just for their own benefits. Google the Ozone health benefits subject. The Spa does need a 20 minutes time which could cool the bath water significantly, so it is best to turn it on for 10 min then go use the bath with the Spa in the bath. It is a cool device and gives you the tiny tiny bubbles feeling. It is the best way to absorb lots of H2 in the shortest time while relaxing in a hot bath. If you find the expense of taking a hot bath too much hot water expensive or energy wasting. Since H2 can also relieve arthritis or inflammation than take a Foot or Hand bath. Use a small tub along with the Q Spa. Soak your tired ache feet/ hands while relaxing.

An H2 water generator drinking water cup, like the Q cup one of the best in the market. Let me be clear there are at least 2 knocks off already in the market. They look the same but can be built with different components inside. Q cup has been the market for 2 yrs already unlike the rest they are new. One of the cheaper comments can be the batteries. Qlife products Batteries are certified approve for air freight( most Qlife products arrive by DHL). The cheaper ones can only be ground ship in case they can explode. The plates and coating, we are not sure what it is. The membrane SPE/PEM with a release chamber or so call duel chamber technology. For one when you need to sanitize something while traveling instead of having extra wipes or gel with you. Now let’s get back to Qlife Q cup, it cost less than any of the other types of products and easy to use, only 5 minutes not 20 min or 24 hr or wait for the delivery to arrive. It makes 0.8 ppm to over 1.3 ppm depends on water source especially the types of minerals in the water does determine the level of H2 dissolved in the water. RO or distilled water makes around 0.8ppm  and mineral water or city water can easily go up to 1.3 ppm. You could drink as much as you like as there is no shown side affect only benefits. One other thing for the people who prefer warm water instead of cold, then the Q cup allows the use of water up to 40ºC. The Qlife products and Q-cup materials are made of BPA free plastic. Why? One’s is bound to drop the Q cup and that can cause the container to break easier if it is glass or the glass can chip. You may not have a spare to replace right away.
